Relocation Project


4/10/13
- Some of the first pieces of equipment are delivered and prepared for installation.

2/15/13 - Trucks arrive with over 2500 square yards of concrete for the production building floor.

1/16/13 - Enclosure of the100,000 square foot production building is completed.

11/05/12 -
  Placement of beams and girders begins. 

9/26/2012 -
  Omaha Steel Castings Company celebrates new location with a Groundbreaking Ceremony.

9/4/2012 -  The first footings are poured.

8/24/2012 -  Site prep at the new location is complete.

8/2/2012 -  Omaha Steel Castings Company participates in its first Saunders County Parade.

4/20/2012 - 
M.E. Collins breaks ground.

3/29/2012 -  The City of Wahoo annexes property.
1/30/2012 -  The following bids and contracts are awarded:
Site Preparation - M.E. Collins; Environmental - Aquaterra; Geo Technical - Terracon; Civil Engineering - JEO Consulting; Structural - Performance Engineering; Architectural - SEarch Architects.

1/11/2012 -  After 106 years in business, Omaha Steel Castings Company announces the "Move to Wahoo". 
Land is purchased from Denise and Mike Lawver.

9/1/2008 -  Omaha SteelCastings Company finalizes formal agreement with Midwest Foundry Consultants Owner, Doug Six, as Project Manager, responsible for the Relocation of Company.
